Volunteer evening 19th March 2018 4.30 – 7.30pm – all welcome

This Easter sees the opening of Tomintoul and Glenlivet’s latest visitor attraction! Our new Discovery Centre will celebrate and promote our areas special cultural and natural heritage and be hub for visitors and our communities.

This new attraction will rely on the support of volunteers due to the wealth of local knowledge and enthusiasm our volunteers have brought to the museum in previous years. With your help Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust can make our local Discovery Centre one of the areas top attractions.

There are a range of ways to get involved and no previous experience or special skills are necessary. All volunteers will be given the support and training they need to carry out their role including some accredited training. An employed Discovery Centre Assistant will be responsible for the day to day running of the centre allowing volunteers to be ambassadors for our amazing area.

If you have a few hours to spare, like meeting people, love our area and work well in a small team we’d like to hear from you.

We will be hosting an open evening for people interested in volunteering on 19th March 2018 4pm – 7.30pm at the new Discovery Centre, The Square, Tomintoul. Cheese and wine will be provided please feel free to join us!
