Community Led Regeneration award for TGDT

Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust we’re announced as winners of the Community Led Regeneration category of the 2016 SURF Awards at a packed awards ceremony in Glasgow on Tuesday night. Accepting the award Mark Finnie Chairperson of TGDT said the award represents recognition from peer organisations for the dedication and hard work of the 1,000’s of volunteer hours put into the project. Mark also thanked funders and supporters of the Trust including Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Moray Council and the Crown Estate.
In addition to the recognition for the trust and communities of Tomintoul & Glenlivet, the award will bring opportunities to share our substantial experience of developing and delivering community led regeneration projects and opportunities to learn from others.
