Ballindalloch Castle is a much-loved home which has been lived in by its original family, the Macpherson-Grants, since 1546. The Castle is filled with family memorabilia, including an important collection of 17th-century Spanish paintings, and the estate is home to the famous Aberdeen Angus breed of cattle. The surrounding grounds include beautiful rock and rose gardens, and river walks. Open to visitors from Good Friday to 30 September, Sunday to Friday (closed on Saturdays), 10.30am – 5.30pm (last entry 4.45pm).
