Two exciting roles with the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership have been announced today, the first is a Communication and Interpretation Officer. This 3 1/2 year post will be hosted by TGDT but work on the Landscape Partnership Project delivering the Communication and Interpretation strategy.

Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership

Communication & Interpretation Officer

Part time (30 hours/week); fixed term for 3.5 years

Band C (£24,100 – £28,193, Pro Rata)

Based in Tomintoul

The multi-partner funded Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership (TGLP) has been developed to deliver cultural and natural heritage projects and community benefit as part of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Regeneration Strategy. Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust is now looking to recruit a TGLP Communication & Interpretation Officer to have specific responsibility for the successful delivery of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Interpretation Strategy, liaising with contractors and leading on the delivery of specific sub projects including website, app, interpretive panels and other site based interpretation. The role will also include delivery of the communications strategy including newsletters, leaflets, website, use of social media, video and podcasts etc for the TGLP scheme supporting other staff members and organisations where necessary.

The second role is a Land Management Officer with specific responsibility for the delivery of land based, natural heritage projects in the TGLP scheme and also support other staff members where necessary. This role will be recruited by Cairngorms National Park Authority but will be based in Tomintoul and work on the Landscape Partnership Project.

Band D (£28,485 – £34,290, Pro Rata)

Based in Tomintoul

The multi-partner funded Tomintoul & Glenlivet Landscape Partnership (TGLP) has been developed to deliver a range of cultural and natural heritage projects as part of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Regeneration Strategy. The Cairngorms National Park Authority is now looking for a TGLP Land Management Officer to have specific responsibility for the delivery of land based, natural heritage projects in the TGLP scheme and also support other staff members where necessary.  Projects include undertaking field visits and working with farmers on habitat improvements, particularly for wading birds; water quality and riparian improvements; footpath projects and working with local volunteers on smaller scale conservation projects. Site visits to farms, rivers and other outdoor locations will be required.
